With Leading Hand, for each of these vehicle and plant types you can create your own field name and configure the information for your business.
One instance is the “Rego No” field, which is the unique identifier for every item in your Leading Hand. For road vehicles such as cars, trucks, motorcycles and such, this is the standard title for this identifier; but if you service only forklifts, air compressors and other types of plant you may want to change the name of that field to “ID No”.
In another instance, The Leading Hand has a field in which you can type a “Fleet No”. This may have nothing to do with your business, but you may have something else you would like recorded, such as an Asset or Unit number. Rather than trying to remember that the Fleet field is the Asset field, you can change the name to “Asset No”.
You can then do searches based on your special fields and their information, and have them as part of your invoices, job cards and reports.
